Our front desk is open:
Sunday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Friday & Saturday: 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM
Please note that we are not staffed 24 hours a day.
What time is check-in?
Check-in begins at 3:00 PM.
We understand that travel plans vary, but early check-in cannot be guaranteed. If your room is ready before 3:00 PM, we'll gladly accommodate you whenever possible.
Please note that we do not offer secure luggage storage, so we recommend planning accordingly if you arrive early.
What time is check-out?
Check-out is 11:00 AM.
If you'd like a little extra time, late checkout may be available for $10 per hour, subject to availability. Please contact the front desk in advance to make arrangements.
When departing, please return your room keys to the front desk or place them in the after-hours key drop box.
What if I'm arriving after the office closes?
Because we are not a 24-hour property, all after-hours arrivals must be arranged and verified in advance.
Guests arriving after the office closes without prior approval are not guaranteed check-in and may be considered a no-show according to our cancellation policy.
If you know you'll be arriving late, simply give us a call before closing so we can make arrangements.
Are you pet friendly?
Yes! We welcome pets.
Pet Fees
$25 per pet, per night (non-refundable)
Maximum of two pets per room
Refundable Pet Hold
A $100 refundable authorization hold will be placed on your credit card for pet stays.
The hold is typically released within 24–72 hours after checkout, provided no damage is found. If damages exceed $100, additional charges may apply.
Pet Policies
The Aqua Room is not pet friendly due to its location.
Pets must remain leashed and under control in all common areas.
Please clean up after your pets.
Service Animals
Service animals, as defined by the ADA, are always welcome and are not subject to pet fees.
Emotional Support Animals (ESAs) are not considered service animals under ADA guidelines and follow our standard pet policy.
Do you offer spa services?
This is one of our most common questions!
Although we're called Pelican Spa, we do not operate a traditional day spa.

Our name comes from our natural hot mineral baths, which have been a local attraction for generations.
If you're interested in a massage, we'd be happy to recommend several wonderful local massage therapists. Please note that they are independent businesses and are not affiliated with Pelican Spa.
What are the hot mineral baths?
Our natural hot mineral baths are one of the things that make Pelican Spa unique.
Registered guests receive access to the baths during operating hours as part of their stay. Walk-in soaks are also available based on availability.
Availability is first-come, first-served.
Do you offer monthly rentals?
Yes—when availability allows.
We offer extended and monthly stays, but we are not an apartment rental facility.
Monthly stays are based on availability and require an application, which can be picked up at the front desk.
